The Anatomist was great fun! Made it out with plenty of time, but that was because the puzzles all made sense, and had good logic to them! Julia, our games master was friendly, welcoming us in, and set the scene really well. We'll be back to take on the Deacon soon!

Really amazing experience in the anatomist room, so much we want to come back to have a bash at deacons cabinet! Beth was a great game host. Absolutely worth a visit!

Absolutely fabulous escape rooms, my favourite ones I've done. Did The Anatomist a couple of years ago and was really impressed by the variety and ingenuity of puzzles and the authenticity of the space. Nothing seems cheap or fake and it feels like the creators have gone the extra mile. Just did the new room, based on the story of Deacon Brodie (Edinburgh's dodgy cabinet maker) and was blown away by the originality and genius of the puzzles. So much fun!!!!

We had an awesome time at Escape the Past doing the escape room "The Anatomist". I had already done 5 to 6 escape rooms but this one was by far the one I found most challenging and the coolest one ! We did manage to escape though (with 3 full minutes to spare !). Highly recommend if you're in Edinburgh. We had Beth as our game master and she was fully into her role so we were directly plunged into the story and our roles as fully committed private inspectors. They only have the one escape room at the moment but are working on a new one that should open very soon...

We thoroughly enjoyed this escape room called The Anatomist. The puzzles were fun and unique in their own way. Rosie was a great and pretty game master, and really gets into character. We would love to come back again and try The Deacon’s Cabinet room.
