Nice family-friendly place. Lots of ice cream favors. The prices were fair for 2 adults and 3 kids. Indoor and outdoor sitting. I like that the ice cream shop is on one side and the restaurant is on the other. Ample parking spaces. Large food portions.

My girlfriend and I were in Asbury Park and the surrounding towns from 9/20 - 9/22 on an unofficial tour of Bruce Springsteen’s childhood homes, bars/music venues where he got his start, and restaurants that he frequents hoping to bump into him (hey, you never know!) So, of course we had to stop at his favorite ice cream spot! We had just devoured a big meal at Federici’s (which was excellent!,) so I got a junior vanilla cone and my girlfriend ordered a junior mint chocolate chip bowl. No Bruce or Jon Bon Jovi sighting, but that’s ok because the ice cream, service, and atmosphere were amazing! We could see why Jersey Freeze is the favorite ice cream spot for those local, music heroes! Thanks, Jersey Freeze!

Discovering that, in Jersey, there are lots of ice cream places that have been around forever! This is one of them. Around since 1952. Excellent custard/soft and hard ice cream. Delicious flavors. We had cappuccino crunch (yum!!) and soft Belgian chocolate. Cant wait to return and try other flavors. Great for kids.
They serve ice cream on one side and food at the other end. Accessible ♿️ Nice outdoor area with tables, and more picnic tables around the back. Large parking lot, but I bet it gets packed in the summer.

One of the best ”old-timey” ice cream shops in NJ. Creative shakes that change monthly - love the local collaboration shakes with Battleview Orchards and other eateries in the area. Apple Cider Shake, Cannoli Shake and Churro shakes were fantastic. Not cloyingly sweet, just right 🤤

A great place to eat!!! My Dad used to bring me here when I was a young child. So, on this Father's Day (2024) I decided to go in honor of him. I had burgers and waffle fries. Loved it!! I have to get them back into the rotation of eating places. They bring the food to you, at your table, if you are eating in. The sitting area was pretty full for a Sunday between lunch and dinner. The sitting area was clean. There are also places outside to sit and eat in the shade and in the sun. Of course, the ice cream options are top notch. Give it a try!!!

I’ve been going here for 30 years and it’s a staple to our county. The food is hit-the-spot greasy, the ice cream is delicious and the establishment is run so efficiently and quickly. We lovvvveeee the waffle fries. We eat turkey burgers now but back in the day the beer battered shrimp or chicken fingers were great. For dessert we always do the chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles. Never disappoints.

I've been coming here for 40 + years JF has the best burgers. Love the jersey burger my wife loves the slider platter. Then your so full you have to go up front to take your Ice cream home.

The soft ice cream taste needs to be improved compared to others. We went there by seeing the crowds and reviews. The ice cream was so-so, but the service and environment were good.
