This hike in Howth with Mark was an absolute gem and a highlight of our Dublin trip! Getting to Howth couldn't be easier – it's just a 30-minute train ride from Dublin (~€5 round-trip). The charming coastal town feels like it jumped straight out of a Hallmark movie, and Mark brought its magic to life through fascinating stories about the area's rich history and literary connections.
The hiking route offered breathtaking landscapes at every turn. What made the experience even more special was having Mark's friendly dog, Missy, accompanying us along the way – she was the perfect co-host!
The tour includes a pint at the end, giving everyone a chance to relax and chat about the experience. After the tour, Mark went above and beyond by sharing a beautifully crafted video compilation of photos and videos from our hike, complete with a mapped route of our journey – a wonderful keepsake. Thank you, Mark!

We loved this experience! My father and I both enjoyed Mark's openness to questions, good humor, and storytelling. And - of course - Missy stole the show.
The casual atmosphere both on the trail and at the pub was great for getting to know the others in the group, and everyone was a great sport. There are short sections of steep inclines, but nothing too intense at all. Wear layers and be prepared for the weather, but otherwise enjoy! The views are incredible, so have your camera ready for photos!

My husband and I decided to take this tour on a whim while we were staying in Dublin as part of our honeymoon. We had such a wonderful time with Mark and Missy (his adorable dog) and couldn't recommend this tour more to visitors. We got very lucky with the weather (sunny, 15c) however, we had such a positive experience, we agreed it would have been just as fun if it had been raining and gray. Mark was so kind, engaging, and warm which made the hike all the more fun and enjoyable.

Howth was also extremely easy to get to via public transportation; one of my favorite things to figure out while traveling! The tour was about 4(ish) hours that included a gorgeous hike, a history tour, and a pint at the end with the entire group. There were also people from all over the world in the group and with Mark's care, everyone had the opportunity to chat and get to know each other. Overall, we feel very lucky to have found this gem.

Loved my walk with Mark, Missy and the group. Had a very lovely day and would participate in more of Mark’s tours anytime. Liked the pace, historical bits and great views. The beer and food at the end were so satisfying and Mark was most agreeable.

our walk were spectacular! This experience is not for those who are looking for a leisurely stroll. You will definitely get your heart rate going on the climb up the hills! The exertion is totally worth it!! The pint of Guiness at the end was the reward for a good walk done! We

Mark was an incredible host. Initially I thought we were going to walk around with adorable pups and drink beer but it was much much more than that. The hike was the most beautiful and rewarding hike l've ever experienced and mark is just an amazing person. Incredibly personable positive, hilarious and happy- exactly who you'd like to be your tour guide. I was so pleasantly blown away by this tour and will plan to be back very soon to try his other tours! You are amazing mark!!!

Mark is an incredible guide, and our with him was the highlight of our trip to Dublin. Howth is a really charming town with beautiful scenery - we are so happy we made the decision to visit and go on Mark’s tour. Mark is a true storyteller and we learned many interesting facts along the route. Having Missy along for the trip was also so special! We ended the tour and hike with a great pint and stayed for lunch at the pub. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and definitely a must-do for your Dublin trip!
