A really nice experience in the farm where you can feed the animals and see them. I would 100% recommend as this was such a lovely experience, the animals all behave very well and are so happy to see you. 100% recommended to everyone

Plenty of parking and a really nice family day out. We’ve been here so many times and never had the same day twice as there’s so much to do. The walk around the lake is just short enough little legs don’t complain too much. The Winnie the Pooh trail is fun. You can feed the ducks, there are some climbing logs just opposite the the playground by the farm. A picnic area. All free. Then you can pay for the farm, some trampolines, a bigger adventure playground. There are two places to eat, a smaller kiosk buy the farm and then a cafe round by the adventure playground and nursery.

Very nice SEND pavilion with 3 sensory rooms and large open play area. 3 toilets of which one is disabled toilet. The only downside is smell from the cafe next door( sensory sensitive kids may not like it) and could be tad cleaner. Other than that for the price of £2 a child plus £5,50 parking for a day it is absolute bargain. Our kids loved it and didn't want to leave.

I've been on many Santa visits over the years but today's at Aldenham Country Park was one of the best. Despite the atrocious weather we had a lovely time. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful & the animals were well cared for. The Santa visit was really well done. First you met Santa's elf and help them find some missing items to restore the magic to Santa's sleigh and can take pics sitting in the sleigh, then through a pretty snow scene room of polar bears and penguins (!) before you go in to see Santa and another elf helper. There's a chair to sit next to Santa and you can take pictures. All every well paced, then you go through to the toy room to choose a gift from cuddles or tractors or farm animal sets. Then you can write a letter to Santa and post it in his post box and later receive a video from Santa.

We visited Aldenham Country Park with the kids and, while we had a great time, the cost felt a bit high—especially since there’s an additional charge to access the playground. That said, the experience was enjoyable with plenty of animals to see, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff. We had a lovely day overall, but due to the cost, we probably won’t be returning very soon.

Big car park and easy to find. Lots of walks to go on around the park and surrounding lake although expect mud in winter in parts.

£5.50 for the car park payable on the way out by contact less payment or card.

I have given it a low rating I'm afraid. So we came on Sunday 27 Nov and not much staff around to ask questions. We prepaid to use the playground, pet farm animals and tractor ride . The playground had litter which I picked up and put in bin.

Prior to that we took a tractor ride but I felt that the driver needed help because you can't drive, check tickets and take money . I was told we could take buggy onto tractor which I thought was odd .

I went inside the sen lounge to take photos but I had a hostile assistant who told me that I couldn't use the lounge. I explained I was just talking photos and said that my child was going to need the toilet anyway when we are leaving. She said that there was a booking for three families at 11 am but I didn't see anyone but that's not the point I just went in to take photos. My daughter came to use playground not the lounge.

The farm was welcoming, ok mix of animals and my daughter loved the animal petting experience, the host was great at ensuring everyone got a turn and showed all the animals. The added extras of Winnie the poo and the bear hunt was fun, didn’t have to pay more for it as well which is a plus. The reservoir was a bit too long of a walk for us after doing the farm but we did love the walk in the forest. There is a bouncy castle for the kids which didn’t cost extra, another good thing for the park.

What I don’t agree with, is tearing down a play park to build another and charge for it…just my opinion and I’m sure some people will disagree. My daughter also did the pony ride, is was around 9 quid for 3 and half minutes it was advertised but I think she was on for a bit longer and the ladies that were looking after the ponies were friendly and good with kids. It was pricey but worth it as it was the first time my daughter got on a pony, she was very happy.
