This is a gorgeous location. The view from the bridge is comparable to a desktop wallpaper. The route down Arundel St is really lovely. I enjoyed every minute of my time there. I will most likely return here shortly.

The trails, river, and peaceful atmosphere are incredible. The kids' playground had littles running around having loads of laughs. The washroom is clean but older, and it was a nice change to see no graffiti. Where things fall short is the Musgkeg train ride which is out of operation again this summer. The Muskeg reminds me of the Little Train That Could and each summer "thinks it can", but with this much excitement the little Muskeg can't contain itself and keeps jumping the rails. I know each year the city tries to wrangle it back in, but by the time they can get to it, the leaves are turning, and the Littles are going back to school. So back it goes until next summer when the cycle starts over again. The other area I was sad about was seeing the farm land where the animals used to roam. It is all grown in with tall grass and weeds, but the bees love it, and they buzzed around the thistles, which is good. I should have turned back at that point, but I know myself well enough that when I saw the little fenced pen and heard quacking, I could not give up a chance to say hello to a feathered friend. I walked to the barn area where I found 3 baby goats, 3 large bunnies, 6 or so ducks, and 10ish chickens. Oh, and some pigeons were eyeing up the barn roof for access. I will just say it may be time for the park to consider exhibits that are not live animals. I do, however, think anyone that heads to Centennial Park for a walk, hike, or even to bring their dog to the off leash trails will be very happy and feel more relaxed when they leave.

Old machines kids can climb on- horse and buggy type grader, log loader, bulldozer.
The train was not running at the time we went but kids could go up and sit in the buggy behind the train. There is a fee for riding the train but I didn’t see the prices.
There are log cabins but they were closed when we went.

Nice trails with little side trails throughout. We didn’t do the whole walk around but did parts of it.

Lots of parking. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t very busy.

I just love taking my dogs walking there! Not only are there Great walking trails, but things to see while you walk! I love all the old machinery and log buildings you can go inside with all the vintage bunks n kitchen etc! Wonderful hill to go sledding on in the winter and animals like ducks, rabbits, etc for the kids or adults to enjoy seeing! Nice big playground for the kids to play in! Just a really family friendly place!

This should get 5 stars just for being so close to my house. How have I been ignoring this place that is pretty much my back yard?
I went in the evening when it was cool enough for a big dude to go out on an extended walk.
If it is a hot day though, there are a few good spots to get in the water along the walking trail.
Excellent place for hiking, biking, tanning or swimming.
There was a yoga session going on in the field.
In the winter time there is a big hill that is great for family sliding.
All kinds of people doing all sorts of activities at Centennial Park.

Enjoy a good walk .I found two trails named "Blue" and "Red" and there are marks all along each .If you got exhausted in the middle, follow the"yellow" marks to get back to the entrance.
