Love camping here! Great weather and amazing space to be free in nature! Fire ban was in effect, and that took away a tad from the vibe and fun times. However, we were still able to have a great time! I would recommend no one come so that we can have the place all to ourselves, but it’s an amazing spot!!

This camp spot is a gem. It’s free, not to far up rim road, and fairly close to the woods canyon lake camp store. Plenty of sites to choose from. The only issue here is a lot of families like to bring their kids. They scream and cry and it’s not a very peaceful campsite when that happens. Could definitely do with less of that and
More peace and quiet. Also all the drunken idiots need to pipe down after 10pm or just flat out GO HOME. Camp sits are not for you to get buck wild and let loose.

Other than the disrespectful people, this is a good camp spot. You even get 1 bar of LTE service that floats in and out at spot C54

Nice large space between each site. We stayed 5 days in site 61. Good gravel road going in. Very quiet.

My wife and I really liked this campground because there was approximately about fifty yards between campsites because of that you didn't feel like people were camping right on top of you.

Some of the campgrounds were already closed very Rocky I couldn't pitch my large tent here

Great camp and ground yourself place. I usually camp at spillway campground for the convenience it offers, being adjusted to woods canyon lake, but the lake is only 15 minutes fast walk from FR 195, and it is much quiater spot. And did I mention? - it is free to camp there.

This is my favorite rim campground. I like the close proximity to the wilderness area for hiking. It has no services - don't be expecting showers and restrooms and rv hookups - but it's a great place to go to experience nature.
