One of the best WA state parks that we can do both hiking and kayaking with just walking distance from the campsite. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming and paddle boards. You can take a short jump from the bridge by the lagoon. The ice cream shop by the beach is also a nice touch to cool off summer days. Hard to do everything in one day so need to plan the trip way ahead, but it’s a must visit for Orcas Island.

When you're from sea level east coast, hiking an actual altitude is the best! The forest is enchanting. The lake is breathtaking.

Beautiful park, hard to believe this is part of the STATE park complex in WA. Highly recommend. Book ferry and lodging in advance as this is in high demand.

Such beautiful trails for walking, running, riding. Most are heavily shaded, so well suited for summer.
We were delighted to see no trash on the 15 miles we walked. Walking among trees >100 years old puts your life issues in a bit of perspective.
Trails are well marked and of varying ability level. The various falls are close enough together to take them in on a single hike. None are tall; all have their charm.
The lakes are marvelously clear and inviting.
The view on top is panoramic. The location offers plenty of rocks and a few picnic benches for lunch or snacks.

Exquisite lookout at the top of Mt. Constitution. Along the way up to the top, there is a pull out and a quick hike to four different falls all within a mile of the car park. Really beautiful place.
