Visited the Christmas special. Awesome staff, great fun, and even crafts you can make or buy, like leather ornaments and steel products from the blacksmith.

Visited their Halloween special, and wow, it was fantastic! Spent the full time 530-930 and didn't get to see everything (some lines were long, but come back after kids have left). Students from KMHS put on some great performances, park staff was also very enjoyable. Only negative was 1 food truck, and they were overwhelmed (most sold out before we could eat, plus 45 wait in line).

This place is fascinating for both adults and kids as young as four. You can learn a lot about how people lived not in purely museum setting but rather an interactive one. My son got to try to grind coffee, kind dough, knit a scarf, learned how people used old stoves to cook and many more. Blacksmith is a hit, of course! 🙂

I have been to this area several times over my 60 some years. I always enjoy the area. Now that I am older, I take the tram from area to area. You can get off the tram at any area to view the area and then hop on the next tram to another area. The area is in a range of Kettle Moraine.

The coolest thing I like is
blacksmith building. Enjoy the blacksmith, actually heating and pounding out iron into items you can buy. This is a must place to visit.

It is one of the best places to learn about living history. It has plenty to see and do. It's a large place. They do have free trams if walking long distance is not your cup of tea. If you do like walking, they also have hiking trails throughout the property.

This is a wonderful piece of Living History that everyone should experience. On a huge acreage of land, there are many different ethnic Settlements that describe, by the Docents, what life was like on a farm at the turn of the 20th Century in Wisconsin. This is so important to learn and see and understand, especially now in our automated-run world. Learning the basics of homesteading is always beneficial. There are trams run by volunteer workers to give a guided tours or if you want to walk and take a self guided tour.. you may do that as well. Also, the gift shop has many interesting items for purchase.

We are season pass holders. We always enjoy it there. Educational and fun. I do however wish they had more bathrooms and food options. Plus the food they do have is over priced. 9 bucks for a small cup of kraft mac n cheese is steep.

My happy place!! I absolutely love stepping back in time at Old World! The staff is so kind and there are always fun events to attend. No matter if you are going with kids or other adults there is so much to see and do.

The addition of the Brewhouse is so fun. There is beer for sale in addition to samples of beers brewed in historic ways! I can’t wait to see what they do with the new tavern!

Great place to let the kids get their energy out and learn at the same time. The trams make it easy and fun to transport to each ethnic area. The grandkids were in awe of what people didn't have back then. Interactive items like the tricycles make it interesting for young and old!! This Grammy had a beautiful sunny mother's day there. Thanks for the free pass!
