Die Ausfahrt selbst hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Fantastic kayak expedition experience with Otter Adventures. Good communication beforehand, really experienced and knowledge guide, fantastic expedition food (much more tasty and interesting than usual camp meals), and we all felt well looked after and in safe hands the whole time. Also, beautiful spots to camp in over the 3 days which felt like we had our own little bit of wild and secluded Scotland. We had to be flexible due to weather and water conditions, but our guide was on top of it and always had back up plans so it never felt like we missed out. Will be booking again!

We had an exceptional day exploring the Ardnamurchan coast with Otter Adventures. Karl customised our adventure, including launching at an alternative site that was closer to our accommodation, wild swimming at an isolated beach, and tailoring our trip as the day and weather progressed. The equipment was top notch and Karl was extremely knowledgable about the area and an expert in the field of sea kayaking and navigation. We highly recommend Otter Adventures for your future trips and we plan on booking with Karl and his company again in the future.

What a marvellous afternoon kayaking we had with Otter Adventures. A sunny Loch Sunart was the perfect setting, and we had a lovely time making our way up the central section of the Loch to a little beach where we rested for a bit before heading back. Such a beautiful coastline; thank you for sharing it with us, Karl and Pete. You did a great job keeping us right re technique and navigation. With top notch equipment too, we would have no hesitation recommending Otter Adventures for a splendid day out. First class.

Highly recommend! Chatted to karl when booking to check it would be suitable for our family. If in any doubt give him a call, he is so friendly and super helpful. We then had a wonderful morning sea kayaking as a family. Pete was brilliant and soon had our children happily paddling confidently. He gave them time and the occasional tweak to their technique that meant we covered more distance than I thought we would. We all really enjoyed it and will definitely do it again on our next visit.

I very much enjoyed canoeing with Otter Adventures. It was my first time ever in a canoe. Karl explained the important basics very well and he helped me and the other lady getting into the canoe. Me, a bit nervous, was very soon completely at ease. The water in beautiful Loch Sunart was very calm and so was the wind. When the lady and I got the hang of canoeing Karl, in his own canoe, started to tell us lots of interesting things about the loch, Strontian, the mountains and the wildlife. When the wind picked up a bit and we started to struggle a bit Karl attached his canoe to ours to form a catamaran. And yes, we saw some of the wildlife: several birds and a seal.
The 3 hour taster was a wonderful adventure. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to do this. I can recommend Otter Adventures to everybody! What I would like to say is: don’t let a bit of fear stop you, Karl is there to help. I’m sure any of the other guides is just like Karl. Thank you, Otter Adventures!
